Designed with the care market in mind, the AKW SmartCare Plus white electric shower has the aim of making showering easy to use for just about anyone. Ideal for a range of disabilities and all ages, the SmartCare Plus groups controls closely together and makes them simple enough to be easy to understand and operate. Each symbol - +,-, temperature and flow - is also raised so that they're easy to identify by touch alone. As well as touch, the shower will also audibly read out temperature and flow indicators to make you fully aware of what the water will feel like before you stand underneath it, while LED illuminated temperature and flow indicators keep the controls easier to see if your vision is impaired. Finally, thermostatic temperature control ensures the temperature never gets hotter or colder than what has already been set. All these features, as well as rounded surfaces and edges, makes the shower safe to use for all. It's also been extensively tested by the RNIB and is BEAB
