Your adventure begins with a pre-flight briefing to familiarise yourself with the controls of this historic aircraft. Seated behind your instructor, you taxi out to the runway and then take to the skies for a flight of pure nostalgia. During the flight youll have the chance to take the controls; cruising at a speed of around 80 knots (just over 80 miles per hour) youll have a fantastic view of the hedgerows, trees, people, their houses and cars. This experience runs on selected dates, all year but mainly May to September. Your flight will last around 30 minutes but youll be at the activity centre for around 1 hour. The maximum weight is 114kg (18 stone), the maximum height is 1.93m (6ft 4). You must be fit without no heart problems, agile as embarking and disembarking is difficult and requires flexibility. This may not be suitable for pregnant women. No previous experience or qualifications are required to take part in this activity. Its just you and the instructor.
