Intel Core i7
With an Intel Core i7 processor, your device will easily handle day-to-day tasks such as work assignments, coursework or browsing the net. Power hungry programs like image manipulation and video editing software will see processing times reduced, enabling better productivity.
The i7-10750H processor in this model features 12MB of cache and 6 cores that can adjust their speed depending on the complexity of the task they are working on, from 2.60GHz to 5.00GHz.
What is RAM?
RAM (Random Access Memory) is different to the permanent storage provided by hard disk drives (HDD), solid state drives (SSD) or memory cards in your equipment. RAM is used by your device to temporarily store data to carry out everyday operations. The more RAM your machine has, the faster you can expect it to open and run programs.
Featuring 16GB of RAM, this computer is comfortable running lots of complex tasks at once, and you won't see any obvious lag or slowdown.
Solid State Drive
Solid state drives (SSD) give you the capacity to store your documents and media, while ensuring quicker and reliable access to your files and programs. SSDs are far faster than regular hard drives and ingeniously, they don't use moving parts to work, which makes them far more dependable and also quieter.

The 15.6”, Full HD display is designed to convey crisp and immersive images, and along with the built-in speakers featuring DTS X Ultra, the Helios 300 will provide an immersive gaming and multimedia experience.
Great graphics
NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 2070, housing 8GB of dedicated on-board RAM and ray tracing capability, will take your gaming session up a notch. The RTX 2070 will enable you to play all the latest titles, along with providing enough grunt for you to enjoy smooth, quality VR experiences (VR headset sold separately).
DirectX 12
DirectX 12 provides you with amazingly fast performance by simultaneously utilizing all the cores of your multicore CPU. It also raises the amount of processes that can be sent to your graphics card, so computations are completed quicker – meaning your games play better.
Cool customer
The Helios 300 has been designed to keep the temperature lower during gaming sessions, thanks to Acer’s custom-engineered, 4th Gen AeroBlade 3D cooling technology.
Connecting your other devices
The USB ports allow for fast data transfer, whilst the HDMI port enables the option for dual screen working or gaming (just connect a previously purchased monitor, then press the Windows button + P to select). Bluetooth can help to send data wirelessly between devices, such as headphones or printers.
