Cards for a jolly Christmas! Reproducing a delightful illustration from a postcard c.1914. Unattributed, the postcard is one of the many collectable series of postcards by Raphael Tuck & Sons, one of Britain’s most successful publishers of greetings cards who flourished in the ‘postcard boom’ of the 1890s1900s. In 1883 the firm was awarded a Royal Warrant by Queen Victoria, becoming "Art Publishers to Her Majesty the Queen".
