Description
Thought to have been an Ancient Chinese status symbol, growing plants indoors was especially popular in Victorian Britain as the craze for glass hot houses took off. Many labourintensive varieties of house plants, such as the Pyrethrum and Cape heathvarieties, have now been lost to horticulture but modern heating and hardier traits have seen plants such as Pelargoniums and Gaillardias continue to thrive. Reproducing Victorian scraps; embossed and triple fold, diecut cards with decorative tassels. Write inside and then reuse as a bookmark. 4 designs, blank. 7 ¼" tall x 2"3" wide.
