The British Library Exquisitely detailed and colourful cards reproducing illustrative plates from a 19th century work of ornithology now in the collection of The British Library. Ornithological studies show a nesting goldfinch, dunnock, great tit and nightingale. From illustrations by O. Dressler for a "Natural History of Birds that Nest in Lombardy; to illustrate the ornithological collection of the brothers Ercole and Ernesto Turati", originally published in Milan, 1865.
