Description
Cards showcasing details of flowers, fruit and leaves from fragments of exquisite Japanese silks, now preserved in the collection of the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam. Featuring embroidery, damask and richly ornamented silk, the original textile pieces date from the 1680s to the 1770s. The museum holds around 100 such fragments from the same collection, possibly sample pieces from kimonos or decorative fabric. Made exclusively for Museum Selection.
